SIMMONS – Wilma C. Simmons, 92, passed away in Ocala after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Perry, FL and had made her home in Jacksonville from 1923 until 1994. She was retired from Federal Civil Service. Mrs. Simmons was predeceased by her husband, Earl M. Simmons, Sr., in 1968. Surviving family includes: her children and their spouses, Sharon and Floyd Williams; Earl and Caryn Simmons and Ronnie and Christine Simmons; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Mr. Richard Dykes officiating. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM.
