Woodie Earl Huckabee, Jr., age 75, passed away on August 4, 2016 in the care of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring. He was born September 28, 1940 in Selma, AL, the son of the late Woodie E. Huckabee, Sr. and Alline (Braswell) Huckabee. Woodie served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He went on to retire from CSX Railroad. He was a longtime member and committed Christian volunteer of Southpoint Community Church in Jacksonville. Woodie is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Theo; and many, many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 6 in Southpoint Community Church, 7556 Salisbury Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32256. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors.
