

Xiola Leigh Lancaster, age 5 of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Friday, February 28th, 2025. Xiola was loved by all her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her and knew of her. Xiola had a hard battle with cancer.
Xiola was a lifelong member of Tree Hill Nature Preserve, Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, MOSH, and The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary. She also enjoyed being a part of North Florida Gymnastics team, and loved learning sign language, Spanish, and singing & dancing with her friends and teachers at The Foundation Academy.
She loved her neighbor Rosie & received her middle name from: Brianna Leigh. Obie was Xiola's penguin companion, but Alani was her best friend. She spoke highly about both when she met Queen Elsa.
She is survived by her mother Jacqueline, daddy Justin, brother Malachi, great uncle Eldon Daniel McQueen, biological father Troy Lancaster, aunt Christina, uncle Paul, uncle Ricky, Kiara, Brian, Sparrow Jackson; grandma Alaska (Carrie), grandma Cat and Pappi Frank, great grandmother Jacqueline (Grandma), great grandmother Joy, godmother Leola Victoria Boyd; plus many more family members and friends.
The family has had a huge loss. Xiola has touched so many people in her five years. She was sweet and sassy, loving and caring. She was independent, intelligent and unique. Xiola deserved the world.
A visitation for Xiola will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
