Yvonne Couey

Yvonne Couey, 87, of Jacksonville, FL passed away March 3, 2020. She was born on July 21, 1932 in West Fairlee, VT. Mrs. Couey loved gardening and sewing as well as baking delicious cakes and sweets. She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church. A loving, wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Couey was predeceased by her husband, William A. “Red” Couey and three sons, Morris, Robert and David Couey. Mrs. Couey is survived by her daughter, Marie Couey; son, Michael (Shelly) Couey; grandchildren, David Couey, Amanda Brown and Dalton Couey; seven great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening, March 6, 2020 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dan Eidson and Pastor George Kratochvil officiating.
