Cindy holds a dear place in my heart. She was joyful, bright, and easily loved by everyone. I have fond memories of spending time with her baking Christmas cookies with my friend Leslie (aka Brooks), playing UNO attack, and singing old tunes like Barbara Ann. She also taught me how to make homemade Pimento Cheese and the mystery of peanut butter water. I can still hear her infectious laughter and quick wit. She was a wonderful role model and was loved as much as she loved! She will be missed by everyone.

It is heartbreaking that her light was snuffed out so soon. My thoughts are prayers go out to her family. Especially Ty, Leslie, Jenni, Gary, MacKenzie, Zoe, and Sydney. I can’t even imagine the pain you are feeling. I wish you comfort and peace knowing that she will always be with you.

Cynthia came to Tarboro often to be with her Mom and Dad. And we saw her quite often at First Baptist. She had quite a task getting her parent's house ready for market after they passed away. We miss her visits. Our sympathy to Ty and the family.

I first met Cindy as a TA for my daughter at Saint Anne's. Later I would spend 18 years working at Saint Anne's and getting to interact with Cindy constantly through the church. Eventually I moved to Northwoods and Cindy was my first visitor. We share a sassy spirit and sat at my kitchen table and laughed for an hour. I will always love me some Cindy Hart❤️
