I miss you, I wish we could spend more time together

My dad is missed daily. I think of him every day. This is going to be my first year without him.

The few times we met and talked, and the times you and the family came by our house, were good times. I feel we were friends. I really do appreciate when you were here by yourself and came over to visit. We share family and you will not be forgotten by this part of it. Dean, Melodie, & family.

Daniel's life has ended so unexpectedly and left us with so many questions. Life often leaves us questioning "why". Why is my sister left without a husband? Why are my niece and nephew left without a father? Why is this world left with one less man?  Honestly, more often than not, those questions are left unanswered. We are left without the knowledge of what will make us feel better, or how can we get through this. How can we as a family help OUR family heal? 

In a life full of uncertainty, I can tell you this - everything in life has a purpose, and Daniel has served his. He was a husband. He was a father, to three beautiful children. He was a soldier, a Marine that served our country. He was a son. He was a brother. Daniel was so much more than we will ever know, may he rest in peace! May he spend eternity with His Heavenly Father. 

To my sister, my niece, and my nephew; I pray for you. I pray for you understanding. I pray for you peace. And I pray for you healing. We love you and are here for you forever. Our prayers are with you now and always.

Keeping you and the kids in my prayers.  You are strong and can get through this with them.  I am sorry for your loss and wish I could ease your pain.

Our family is deeply saddened by Daniel's passing. I was his recruiter in Austin Tx when he re-entered the Marine Corps. My children and his played and stayed at each others homes from time to time when we were all in California. Bless your family and loved ones and reach out to your comfort source for the children. Call if we can help in some way. We are unable to be in town for his service but will pay our respects when we return.

My heart truly goes out to the Fernandez family, Lets hope our children will carry on the Fernandez name and make it a name they will forever be proud of, Your daddy is watching over all of you. *hugs*

My Husband is gone, but will never be forgotten.  I Love You Daniel, and always will.  May you be at peace.  The kids and I will get thru this.  Forever in my heart.

It's a tragedy that my dad had to go so soon. I know he was loved & inspired many people. The Marines was his life & I'm happy he touched so many people through it!! He remains loved & now missed. RIP Dad<3

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Family of SSgt Daniel Fernandez!! My family has known them for appx. 9 years and they are all wonderful people. My heart is Aching for Domenica and the kids..Daniel Fernandez will be missed tremendously!!

Daniel will be remembered as a loving Dad and husband, he loved the Marines and spend time his family. He taught me many lesson throughout my life and I couldn't ask for a better brother. We love you Daniel, you made us more united as a family and I give you thank you for that. Dominic, Antonio, Danielle And RJ please remain strong for us. Daniel will be missed and never forgotten.

My prayers go to his family, he will be missed. He was my marine recruiter, I leave for basic sept 16 2012. I had hoped to come back after basic to see him. May his soul rest in peace, we had alot of laughs and sweat during training.
