She is preceded in death by her son Ricky Hemric.
Survivors include her husband Howard Hemric of Sneads Ferry, son Danny Hemric of Sanford, daughter Frankie Carrigan of Raleigh, and brother Jack Cook of Elkin.
Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville today, Jan. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. Services will take place in Raleigh at a later date.
