Lucy Iris Ervin Mills

Lucy Iris Ervin Roberts Mills, 93, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. She was formerly of Richlands, NC.

Lucy Iris Ervin Roberts Mills was the daughter of the late Oscar B. Ervin and Lucy Jarman Ervin. She was born March 12, 1920. Iris was a member of the Croatan Presbyterian Church where she was a great servant of the Lord. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Croatan Presbyterian Church on Hwy 70 between James City and Havelock with Dr. Richard Boyd and Reverend Rob Pate officiating.

She is survived by her daughters: Sylvia Roberts Potter of New Bern, Betty Roberts White of Morehead City, NC, Suzanne Roberts Scott of Morehead City, NC; daughter- In-law: Ruth Brock Roberts of Richlands; step daughters: Mary M. Hood of Wyse Fork, NC, Martha M. Olive of Greenville, NC; nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
