Myra Williams Kessel, 67, of Jacksonville died Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Red Hat and a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will be held at the Coastal Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery at a later date.
She is survived by her husband: Bud Kessel; son: Matthew Alan Kessel of Jacksonville, NC; daughters: Stephanie Walton of Marion, Ind., Melissa Kessel Balto of Jacksonville, NC; sister: Betty E. Williams Dahn of Rockledge, Fla.; three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
