Wednesday, we lost a loving wife, mother, grandmother and true friend. Myrtle Horne Marapese, 84, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 surrounded by her family. We find comfort in knowing our beloved Mimi will suffer no more, and that now she has a better understanding of our Lord. We hurt from our loss, but rejoice because she is now fulfilled with joy and peace. We are grateful for the time we shared together, and celebrate all of the wonderful memories. One day we will find happiness knowing that a part of our hearts are going with her to heaven. Mike and I send our deepest condolences to you, Deborah and all your loved ones. You and your mom were especially good neighbors to us transplanted midwesterners. We thank you for that and the continued relationship through the years.

My condolences on the loss of Mrs. Marapese. I "knew" her many years through the insurance agency, and she was always a dear and a pleasure to deal with. I know it is a big loss to you and your family, even as we know she is at peace with her Lord. In sympathy, Diane Racey (Trisure)

Dear Tom, Mike, Debbie and family,
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mimi. We only knew her for a few years but we liked her immediately and always enjoyed being in her company. She was such a kind and loving person and always made us feel so welcome. We are sorry we cannot be there for the funeral but our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you.
