Ruth Jenkins Penawell

Ruth Jenkins Penawell, 90 of Richlands, passed away Tuesday evening at The Brian Center of Wallace.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Penawell.

She is survived by her sons Donald Penawell of Dover, DE and Roger Penawell of Flora, MS, her daughter Deborah Vanni of Martinez, CA, her nieces Joyce Futrell of Richlands, Carol Bean of Sneads Ferry, Joyce Morton of Jacksonville, and Janice Horrell of Wallace, nephews Carroll Willaford and David Willaford, her great niece Vivian Parker of Richlands, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Ruth will be held on Saturday from 10 AM to 11 AM at Christian Community Church of Nine Mile. Services for Ruth will follow the visitation at the church on Saturday with pastor Anthony Davis officiating from 11Am to 12PM. Interment will follow the service at Pinelawn Cemetery in Kinston.

Friends may visit at the residence of Durwood and Vivian Parker.
