William Patrick Holden

William Patrick Holden “Bill” lost his battle to cancer on February 18, 2018. Bill was born in Colome, South Dakota on December 12, 1941. After serving his country in the United States Army he met his first wife Delaine “Dee” Holden. They spent 38 years together and shared three daughters; Susan Flaharty, Julia Wessels and Jenny Jo Holden (most likely his favorite). After Dee passed away he was given a second chance of happiness when he met Vickie Holden. They quickly married and he spent the rest of his life with her. Bill and Vickie, also known as Frick and Frack spent 13 blessed years together.

Bill is survived by his wife Vickie, his three daughters Sue, Julie and Jenny, stepson Sean Hansley, his son-n-laws Patrick Flaharty and Dean Wessels, his daughter-n-law Emily Hansley, eight grandkids and four great grandkids.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Johnson Funeral home, Jacksonville. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery .

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
