Wilma Rhodes

Wilma was born on September 21, 1951 in Duplin County, NC. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Wilma loved raising her babies and loving on other ones. When her daughter Tessa was involved in cheerleading, she was everyones' biggest fan. Wilma was true to her faith in God and to her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Annie Fisher; three brothers, Leon, Winford, and R.J. Fisher; and one sister, Judy Futrell.

Wilma is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years James Rhodes; children, Davy, Paul, Tessa, Jamie Kelly and Jimmy Walker; brother, Ray Fisher; sister, Bonnie Williams; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and Cuddles.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Christian Community Church in Richlands. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the church. She will be laid to rest in Fisher Family Cemetery following the service.
