Alexis Johnson

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Alexis was born in Boca Raton, FL, on February 29, 1992, she grew up in Jasper. She graduated from Walker High School in 2010 and then graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor Degree and a Masters Degree in Accounting. Alexis was employed as a Controller for Stringfellow Lumber Company. She loved her two cats Gilbert and Tootsie and her dog Yoshi. She loved musicals, plays, local and her online community of friends. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur U and Lucille A Bernabei and John D Johnson.

She is survived by her parents, Darryl and Natalie Johnson; brothers, Nicholas Johnson and Kyle Johnson (Taylor); grandparents, Jerry and Fran Souders; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Walker County or Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
