Born on December 28, 1924, in Winfield, Alabama, Betty lived a long and faithful life devoted to her family, her Christian faith, and the values she cherished. On February 7, 1943, she married William David Delberta, her beloved husband and lifelong companion. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter, Donna Delberta Cooley, and a legacy of love that continues through their grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

A longtime member of Sixth Avenue Church of Christ, Betty was a devoted Christian, Betty was known for her kindness, strength, and loving spirit. She touched the lives of many through her unwavering faith and her genuine care for others. Those who knew her will remember her as a wonderful woman whose life was a testament to grace, compassion, and devotion.

A lifelong lover of animals and children, Betty found great joy in caring for beloved pets (Winnie her dog and Mama her cat), and nurturing the young lives around her. Her warm smile, and caring heart made her a favorite among children, who were naturally drawn to her kindness. Whether tending to her animals, offering comfort to a child, or sharing a kind word with someone in need, Betty demonstrated a special compassion that reflected the love she carried throughout her life.

The family rejoices in the promise of eternal life and finds reassurance in the words:
