Billy Carroll Myers

The family will welcome friends at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 11:30 until 1 p.m. Service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Officiated by Adam Brewer and Paul Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, JD “Delta” and Willodean Myers; grandparents, Nat and Sarah Myers, Vinnie and Willie Taylor; in-laws, Jack and Iris Earnest of Cedartown, GA.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Myers; children, Lyn Humphries (Phillip), and Amy Woods (Mark Harris); grandchildren, Zach Wilson (Natalie), Taylor Wilson (Myra), Caleb Woods (Hannah), Conner Woods (Jacey), Carly Woods and Calyn Barrentine (Julian); great grandchildren, Max Wilson, Riley Wilson, Mia Wilson, Zayden Wilson and Lydia Wilson, Brylan Barrentine and Hazel Grace Woods; and brother JD Myers (Debbie).

He was a faithful member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Building Fund at Philadelphia Baptist Church (1200 Burrows Crossing Road Jasper Al 35504) in honor of Billy Myers or to Southeast Hospice. A special thank you to Southeast Hospice and Rawanda Stringer and Kayla Myers.
