Bro Bobby had many passions in life such as deer hunting, fishing, Alabama football, and his dog Penny. However, his greatest passion was the Lord. He loved to preach and teach others about Jesus’ love. He made the decision many years ago
to follow Jesus’ command for his life, which was to lead others to a life of Christ. He pastored many churches over the years and in recent years he had the privilege to follow his heart and do mission work. Whether it was stateside or going to places as far as Brazil to knock on doors, he wanted others to have the opportunity to know and have an eternal life with Christ. His favorite thing to say was “Can I tell you about a man named Jesus?”. Brother Bobby was a special man who never met a stranger. He was truly loved and admired by so many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Doris Holt; brother, Clayton Holt; in-laws, Millard “Jr” and Barbara Busby and Dale and Betty Haynes.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Darlene Busby Holt; children, Tonya Thomas (Adam), Kim Johnsey (Jeff) and Bobbi Hebert (Matthew); grandchildren, Jordan Mauldin, Dalton Mauldin, Ariel Stanley (Blake), Annsley Johnsey, Aubrie Johnsey, and Raegan Hebert; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, David Holt and Larry Holt and sister, Annette Mauldin and a host of nieces, nephews and multitude friends.
