She was preceded in death by her father, Bert Lanier; brother, Tony Lanier; niece, Amanda Lanier and nephew, Sydney Lanier.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Lanier Sheriff; sister, Pam Lanier Barnes (Richard); brother, Terry Lanier; nephew, Brandon Barnes (Miranda); niece, Nancy Barnes Vickery (Jarrod); great-nieces, Hannah and Emma; great-nephew, Connor and a host of cousins and friends.
