Family will be receiving friends on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5 until 7 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Cordova High School Gym, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 2 p.m., lying in repose from 1 until 2 p.m., directed by Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Gay Reed Cemetery. Darren Allen will officiate.

He is preceded in death by is parents, Otis and Bernice McElrath; brother, Cornelius “Buddy” McElrath; grandparents, Synthia and John McElrath; special brother, Cameron Cox and mother-in-law, Margaret S. Banks.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marisha McElrath; sons, Leo S. Williams and Byron McElrath; grandchildren, Marissa Pike, Trent Williams, Jayden Williams, Derrick Williams, Sampson Pike; sister, Tomekia McElrath; brother, Frederick McElrath (Valerie); mother-in-law, Vernice White; special sisters, Alfreda Cox, Shrenda McElrath, Tasha Grooms, London Parham; special brothers, James “Pappy” Windham, James “Buck” Thomas, Billy Ray Nalls, Joe Nalls, Bobby Meadows Jr., Arthur Hood, Howard Thompson and Derek Coger; special nieces, Brittney McElrath, Kayla Brown and Phylecia Grimes; nephew, Quentin and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
