Donald Jerry Maxwell, 81, of Mount Olive, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at his residence. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at 11 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel. Bro. Thomas Reeves will officiate. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Maxwell was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Maxwell; children, Scott Maxwell; parents, Charlie Maxwell and Velma Myers Maxwell; and siblings, Betty Maxwell McDonald and Charles Maxwell. He is survived by his sons, Daniel Maxwell and Paul Maxwell (Mary Ellen); daughter, Tanya Maxwell (Matt) and Jeri Lynn Maxwell Nuttall (Bob); grandchildren, Justin, Scotty, Sean, Jessica, Cori, Meg, and Anna Scott; sisters, Hilda Maxwell Kiker (Jimmy) and Joy Maxwell Sims (Phillip); and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
