Doris Rousseau Hand, 82, of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Old Zion Cemetery in Jasper. David Hearn will officiate. Hand was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Hand; parents, Bill and Annie Rousseau; son, Steven Earnest; brother, Harlon Rousseau; and nephew, Michael Rousseau. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Sutherland (Lewis); son, Chris Hand (Sharon); grandsons, Colin Sutherland (Mica), and Remy Sutherland; granddaughter, Christy Barger (Tim) and their foster child; great-granddaughter, Calder Frances Sutherland; brother, Bill Rousseau (Mary); niece, Tonya Petlewski (Steve); and great-nieces, Alaina Petlewski and Leiana Petlewski.
