Edna Harper Fowler Edna Harper Fowler, 96, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Ridgewood Health Care Center. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 31, 2014, from noon until 1 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel. Bryan Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in the Walker Memory Gardens. Fowler was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee Fowler; son, J.W. Fowler; parents, John and Emma Harper; sisters, Minnie, Elvis, Olean, Edith and Rebecca; and brother, Edgar Harper. She is survived her sons, Curtis Fowler (Ora Lee) of Decatur, Ray Fowler (June) of Jasper and Larry Fowler (Patricia) of Hazel Green; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Harper (Kazuko) of Gardendale; and sisters, Marvareen Underwood of Oakman and Emma Jean Cook of Leeds.
