Amon was not a wealthy man, but he was a rich one. He was rich in good humor and a boyish grin, in strength and generosity, in love and tall tales. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Amon was enriched by his presence. He was a devoted, dependable man, always quick with a tale and a laugh, possessing a heart as large as he was.
Amon was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; parents, John and Virgie Davidson; three sisters and four brothers.
Amon is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Anne Davidson and Bobby and Loronda Davidson; daughter, Laurie Davidson; grandchildren, Amy Byars (John), Emily Davidson, Ashlee Davidson, Anna Davidson, and Chris Davidson; great-grandchildren, Sallie Byars, Luke Byars, Zach Byars, and Molly Byars; sister, Lenora “Sis” Glenn and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gideons International.
