
Elizabeth Ann Keith Rea, 89, of Carbon Hill, passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at her residence. Visitation will be today, Feb. 4, 2015, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Carbon Hill. Funeral services will be today, Feb. 4, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Carbon Hill with burial in the Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper. Todd Henderson will officiate. Affectionately remembered as Mrs. Keith by her friends and former students, Ann was a retired home economics teacher at Carbon Hill and a business owner at Strickland Drugs for many years. She was also a lifelong member of her beloved church, Carbon Hill Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husbands, G.W. Keith and C.R. Rea; parents, James Albert Strickland and Myrtie Earnest Strickland; and brother, James R. Strickland. She is survived by her nephew, Bill Strickland (Carol); great-nephew, Billy Strickland; great-niece, Deanna Buff; great-great-niece, Isabella Strickland; and great-great-nephew, Logan Buff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Carbon Hill.
