My first memory of Bro. Gary was when his Mom & Dad were pastoring at LaGrange Church of the Nazarene, in Leighton AL, back in 72'. The Sheffield church had agreed to start a mission church, and my Mom & Dad were charter members of that selfsame church! Nazarenes are well known for having talented singers, and Bro. Gary was just that!! He would come from time to time and sing for us at different functions we would have.
And thinking back, not as far, I'm remembering all the times he would bless us singing at Laymens Retreat! He will be missed.
God Bless & comfort the family. You are in our thoughts & prayers.
Much Love,
Laura Mayfield Craig

Gary was indeed a special friend yo our family! My dad (Dallas Baggett) loved Gary and his wonderful singing. He wanted Gary to sing at his funeral, which he did so beautifully! He will truly be missed but I am certain he is singing in heaven right now! Prayers for you dear family 🙏🏻❤️
