George was a lifetime member of the Lost 4850 Veterans Foreign Wars. He enjoyed fishing, watching old movies and eating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Pearson; parents, Walker and Gladys Pearson; sisters, Magdalene McBride and Wanda LaFan; and brothers, Horace Pearson, Douglas Pearson and Paul Ray Pearson.
He is survived by his daughter, Angelique Jenkinson (Scott); grandchildren, Emily Jenkinson and Seth Jenkinson; brothers, Jimmy Pearson (Lapeta) and Gerald Pearson (Leslie) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
