Henry Wallace Taylor, 91, of Jasper, died peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at home. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born June 17, 1934, in St. Clair County, to B.K And Ella Taylor. He had a military career that included service in Korea and the Berlin Airlift of 1962. He had a professional career that included 30 years of service with the Alabama State Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria Taylor; parents, B.K. and Ella Taylor; brother, Richard Taylor (Judy) and sister, Mattie Lee Lacey.
He is survived by his daughter, Dru Arnold (Tim); granddaughter, Gloria Arnold; grandson, Will Arnold; sisters, Jeanette Taylor (Madison, AL) and Ann Harmon (Jacksonville, FL); nephews, Jay Lacey (Winter Haven, FL), R.T. Harmon (Jacksonville, FL), and Clay Taylor (Gadsden, AL); and a host of great nieces and nephews.
