Jeffrey Markel Stewart Sr.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 12 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church of Jasper. Dale Lawley will officiate.

Jeffrey was known as Dixie Drifter. He was a man with a big heart who loved and was loved by many. He spent most of his life as a truck driver and when he wasn’t talking about trucks, he could usually be found talking about racing. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Yvonne Stewart; and grandparents, Mary Francis Stewart and Alma McDonald.

He is survived by his children, Mark Stewart (Trista), Justin Stewart (Sydney) and Ashley Garner (Eric); grandchildren, Zach Stewart (Caitlin), Reagan Stewart, Kaden Cato, Aaden Secrest, Raelynn Stewart, Kensley Garner and Bristol Garner; sister, Lisa Killingsworth (Ted); nephews, Ryan Killingsworth (Angie) and Wesley Killingsworth (Jenny); and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mark Stewart, Justin Stewart, Zach Stewart, Ted Killingsworth, Eric Garner and Steve Stewart.
