Jerrie Pinson

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 12 until 1 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 1 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens.

Jerrie worked for the State of Alabama 2 years for the D.O.T. and 13 years for the Alabama Driver License Division. She loved working in the DL Department and was proud of her job. She loved her co-workers and her clients. Jerrie was a quick-witted and funny. She would say, “If you don’t like what’s for dinner eat it or do without”. She love her Savior Jesus Christ, family, friends, co-workers and her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Annie Woods; brother, Pee Wee Woods; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glide Woods.

She is survived by her loving husband, Emmett Pinson; sisters, Barbara, Brenda and Pam; brother, Mike King; niece and nephews, Melinda King (Carlos), Bubba King and Johnny Turnbow (Mary); 4 great nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone for the calls, text, food and prayers. Following the burial the family would like to invite her family and friends to Sumiton Church of God for food and fellowship.
