Joann Hall Edwards, 79, of Carbon Hill, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at home. Family will receive friends Monday, June 5, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will be Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Carbon Hill Church of Christ. Burial will be at Carbon Hill Memorial Cemetery. Darrell Pate will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry W. Edwards Sr.; parents, Oscar and Bertha Hall; sons, Jerry Edwards Jr. and Micheal Edwards; in-laws, Earnest and Lorene Edwards, Steve Edwards and Denver Jones; siblings, Bob Hall, Bill Hall, Ted Hall, Tom Hall, Betty Early, and Virginia Deskins; and grandson, Brent Alan Edwards .
She is survived by her children, Malinda Edwards, Greg Edwards, and Beverly Green (Jim); grandchildren, Kristen Edwards, Amberly Ennis (Darnell), Tiffany Bunt (Aaron), Jacob Edwards, Seth Edwards, Stephany Edwards, and Micheal Edwards; in-laws, Trudy Hall, Sandy Hall, Kathy Hall, Gary Early, Amy Edwards, Barry and Pat Edwards, Deborah Jones, and Carolyn and Bobby Davenport; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
