He was born May 2, 1928 in Sayre. Frank served in the Korean War, US Army 45th Infantry Division—Company D, 120th Engineer Combat Battalion.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Alice Castleberry Martin; and sister, Mary Martin Pilkinton Ortman.
He is survived by his children, Linda Joerg, of Tallahassee, FL; Howard Martin, Janet Wilson, and Mark Martin all of Cordova; grandchildren, Justin and Jillian Joerg, and Jennifer and Jason Reeves; great grandchildren, Christopher, Victoria and Austin Reeves; niece, Gail Pilkinton Guge of Knoxville, TN and a host of friends.
Frank worked for over 30 years at ACIPCO and retired in 1989. Frank loved faith, family, fishing, flea markets and Alabama football.
Interment will be in Good Hope Cemetery in Sayre. Memorial service to be determined. Any donations in his memory may be made to the National Glaucoma Foundation.
