John Howard Murray, 75, of Jasper, passed away on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, at his residence. Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Boldo Cemetery. Greg Tinker and Russ McDonald will officiate. Murray was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Gayle Murray; parents, Morris Murray Sr. and Charlsie Murray; and siblings, Ed Murray and Louise Barton. He is survived by his children, Melissa Reid, Jeff Murray, Brent Murray (Pam), Jennifer Salvadori (David) and Amy Gore (Jerry); grandchildren, Josh Bunt, Andrew Bunt, Garrett Gore, Mason Gore and Ava Gore; and siblings, Shirley Resse, Doris Boteler and Morris Murray Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Jasper First Church of the Nazarene 400 14th Ave. West Jasper, AL 35501.
