John Allen Pierce John Allen Pierce, 73 of Carbon Hill passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at his residence, surrounded by his family and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, from noon until 1 P.M., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at 1 P.M., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Pierce. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Genevie Pierce; mother, Ethel Omer; sisters, Illa Dean Clark (Bob), Yvonne Herron (Bob), and Carolyn Jordan (Paul); children, Deborah Heflin (Phillip), and John W. Pierce; grandchildren, Keith, Mandy, Cassie, Joseph, Kayla, Justin, Eric and Dakota; six great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
