Johnny W. NeSmith, 70, of Nauvoo, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, at his home. Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Townley Church of God. A graveside service will follow at Whitley Cemetery in Fayette County. Phillip Noles will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myles and Agnes NeSmith of Townley, AL; father in law Henry Q. Pike and Annie Clay Pike of Carbon Hill, AL; granddaughter, Brooklynne Denise NeSmith of North Carolina.
He is survived by wife, Kandie NeSmith; son, Joshua NeSmith; grandchildren, Raegan NeSmith, Keira NeSmith, Abby NeSmith, and Jayce NeSmith; brother, Winford NeSmith of Townley, AL; and brother in law, Tommy Pike (Janice) of Jasper, AL.
