He is survived by his loving wife, Dorcus Sanford; children, Johnny Sanford Jr. (Amy), Kelly Sanford (Tony Connell) and Rebecca Sanford; grandchildren, Paige Farley, Anthony Sanford and Destiny Matlock; siblings, Melody Lane, Marilyn Chappell, Sandra Sanford, Sonny Sanford, Synolah Brown and Julia Tittle
