John Shaver, 72, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017, at his residence. No visitation or funeral service will be held at this time. Shaver was preceded in death by his parents, Asa Lee Shaver and Margaret Shaver; father- and mother- in-law, Coy Chism and Maudie Chism; and sister, Barbara McCrakin. He is survived by his wife, Betty Louise Shaver; daughter, Kim Hyche (Chris); sons, Johnny Lee Shaver (Stacy) and Bradley Shaver; granddaughter, Alicia Dunagan (John); grandsons, Cory Hyche (Stephanie), J.C. Shaver and Dylan Shaver;great-grandchildren, Caleb Dunagan and Cody Dunagan, Carter and Xander Hyche; and sister, Judy and Liz Special thanks to Kindred Home Hospice and Home Health.
