Mrs. Juanita A Meeks

Juanita Meeks, 91, of Jasper went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her beloved nieces Cindy Dailey, Cathy Bruce, Connie Brown and her son; Connor, along with her attentive care giver, Howard Lollar. The funeral will be at 12 noon, Thursday, January 4, at Kilgore-Green Chapel with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Bro. J.D. Dickerson will officiate. Visitation will be 11 AM-12 Noon prior to the service. She dedicated the majority of her adult life to serving Walker County School System as a teacher. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wesley W. Meeks, of 58 years; father, William Allen Naramore; mother, Ada Rice Naramore; brothers, Hardy Naramore, Herman Naramore, and Bill Alan Naramore. She is survived by her sister Jean Woods of Boaz, Al; her brothers Doyle Naramore and Shelton Naramore of Jasper. Juanita will be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. A special thank you to Greg Nunn and Carla Hinson for their care and understanding of hospice care on behalf of Juanita. Pallbearers are Charles W. Ivey, Dennis Ivey, Johnny Ivey, Nathan Ivey, Doug Bruce, and Caden Bruce. Honorary Pallbearers are Carden Bruce and Connor Brown Memorial donations in memory of Juanita can be made to Blooming Grove Baptist Church, Jasper, AL, Family Life center gym floor fund.
