

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, July 25, 2022, from 10:30 until 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at Kilgore-Green Chapel at 11 a.m., burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Jerry Boyd will officiate.
Larry was born to Odis and Lucille Lovett in 1942. He served four years in the United States Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam. When he returned home, he went to work at Fontaine. After a 40 plus years working there, he focused on using his exceptional talent to become known for making intricate wooden toys. He was best known for being a loving husband and dad but never forgot to share the love with his entire extended family.
He was preceded in death by loving wife, Peggy Cole Lovett; parents, Odis and Lucille Lovett; siblings, Iona Kimbrell and Travis Lovett; grandparents, Walter and Bell Cummings and George and Florida Lovett and in-laws, Virgil and Annie Cole.
He is survived by his son, Mark Lovett; sister, Jan Olnhausen (Harold) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
