Mary Jean Grace Roden

Family will receive friends Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Boldo Memory Gardens. David McConnell will officiate.

Mary Jean was born February 3, 1933, to the late Frank and Ola Nelson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Grace in 1977,; daughter, Janice McConnell; siblings, Donnie Nelson, Johnnie Nelson, Ercel Dixcon, Doris Crotzer and Dorothy Banks; and son-in-law, Michael Warren.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Roden; daughters, Tammy Songer, Teresa Warren and Ann Caldwell (Johnny); sons, David Grace and Phillip Grace (Sandra); sister, Betty Callahan; sister-in-law, Edra Nelson; brother-in-law, Dick Dixon; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; step-children, Tena Miles (Michael), Tanya Damico (Frank) and Tony Roden (Rogene); three step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary Jean loved her family and friends. She worked at Wal-Mart for 30 years as a door greeter.
