Patsy Ray O’Rear, 74, of Jasper, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at her residence. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at 1 p.m., at New Prospect Cemetery with Delmus Anthony officiating. O’Rear was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lee O’Rear Sr.; and parents, William Gradstone Ray and Lucille Johnson Ray. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly O’Rear Gurganus; son, Lonnie Lee O’Rear Jr.; grandson, Nelson and Austin Gurganus; special daughter, Janie Odom; sisters, Sally Ray Davis (Bob) and Betty Ray Day (Lloyd); and several nieces and nephews.
