Preston W Hathcoat, 78, of Jasper, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Hollis Alexander will officiate. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Ada Hathcoat; wife, Thelma Hathcoat; sister, Alice; brothers, Jerry and Curtis.
He is survived by his daughters, Angela Welch (Glenn) and Brandi Hathcoat; granddaughter, Brooke Conner; sisters, Barbara, Patricia, Helen, and Carrie; brothers, Benny, Donnie, and James; special cousins, Georgia and Linda; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
