

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Rosalyn Bradley, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on August 2, 2025, at the age of 80.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Ricky Sherer will officiate.
Born with a warm heart and a resilient spirit, Rita touched the lives of all who knew her. Known for her compassion, Christian spirit, and unwavering dedication to those she loved, she built a life rooted in kindness, grace, and generosity.
Throughout her life, Rita was a steady source of encouragement. Whether through her thoughtful words, her nurturing presence, or her ability to find beauty in the ordinary, she left an indelible mark on those around her. Her legacy lives on in the gospel songs of Elvis she loved, the lasting warmth of love she gave freely, and the memories cherished by so many.
Rosalyn is survived by her husband, Charles Bradley; son, Brack Bradley (Kristin); grandchildren, Pearce and Birdie, sister Louise Berry (Larry); nieces, Leah Kimbrell and Susan Norris and a host of other nieces and nephews who will continue to honor her memory by living their lives with the same compassion she exemplified every day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Jessie Sherer, brothers, Lew Sherer, Rayburn Sherer, Kenneth Sherer, Harold Sherer, Leon Sherer; sister, Evelyn Sherer Evans.
