Ruth Dean Dawson, 92, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Ridgeview Health Services. A graveside service will be held at Curry Cemetery today, May 31, 2016, at 3 p.m. Bryan Richardson will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dawson; parents, Bird and Elveie Chandler; and brother-in-law, Earl Rigsby. Dawson is survived by her sister, Katie Rigsby; nephews, Gary Rigsby, Paul Rigsby, Byron Rigsby, Kyle Rigsby and Richard Rigsby; and nieces, Summer Spradley and Amber Abernathy.
