Mrs. Shirley Clutter

Shirley Ann Clutter, 73, of Jasper, passed away January 1, 2019, at Brookwood Baptist of Jasper.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 4, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Bro. Bill Martin will officiate.

Shirley was a cosmetologist for 38 years. She loved serving Christ through Children’s Church. She was a member of Gorgas Baptist and formerly at New Canaan Baptist Church approximately 40 years. Shirley loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Elliott; sister, Jeanette Spooner; grandparents, Thomas Holloway and Annis Mintoria Holloway, Daniel Elliott and Hattie Elliott; mother-in-law, Josephine Clutter; brothers-in-law, Arthur Kifer and Edmund Austin.

She is survived by her husband, John H. Clutter; daughters, Farrah Clutter Brown (Jason) and Tammy Clutter Kilgore; grandchildren, Joshua Thomas Kilgore, Jordan Tyler Kilgore, Kelsey Josephine Paige Kilgore, Hudson Troy Brown; mother, Geneva Marie Elliott; siblings, Donnie Elliott (Ruby), Larry Elliott (Janeth), Danny Elliott, Tommy Elliott (Joyce), David Elliott (Carolyn); sisters-in-law, Georgiana Austin, and Edwina Kifer; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Family request donations to be made to the Gideons International.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Elliott, David Elliott, Larry Elliott, Tommy Elliott, Danny Elliott, and Dennis Cleversy.
