Willie Mae Tidwell

Funeral services will be held on June 30, 2026, at 10 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Joe Fowler will officiate.

Mrs. Tidwell was born on June 12, 1952. She married Billy G. Tidwell on November 29, 1969, after his return from Vietnam. They had three beautiful daughters. She was a devoted, loving wife and mother, who loved her family fiercely.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston Arnold Brand and Willie Ruth Hancock; sister, Beverly Joan Brand; brother, Larry Arnold Brand; father-in-law, Alvis Tidwell and mother-in-law, Virginia Tidwell.

She is survived by her loving husband, Billy G. Tidwell; daughters, Teresa Mobley (John), Melissa Silver (Joseph) and Amy Wright (Brian); grandchildren, Nicholas Stone (Chrissy), Heaven Dill (Jeremy), Stanley Lamar (Carlotta), Kyle Ferguson (Allison), Kaylee Needham (Matt), Dillon Silver (Alexis), Justin Silver (Becky), Joshua Stone, Jacob Stone, William Bradford, Jason Van Winkle, Isaiah Van Winkle, Brian Van Winkle, Abigail Van Winkle, Timothy Van Winkle, John Luke Van Winkle, Caleb Ferguson and Kaden Wright; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Yvonne Ruth Lanier (Jim); brothers, Clyde David Brand (Laike) and Dr. Columbus Edward Brand (Shae) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tunnels to Towers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Silver and Kaden Wright.

Pallbearers will be William Bradford, Stanley Lamar, Kyle Ferguson, Caleb Ferguson, Brian Wright, Jacob Stone, Jason Van Winkle and Isaiah Van Winkle.
