Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until Celebration of LIfe at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Church of Christ 667 Charles Street New Iberia, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the St. Matthews Cemetery in Patoutville, Louisiana.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 51 years, Frank R. Lewis of Jeanerette, Louisiana; three daughters, Kuchonnie (Paul) Lewis, Tiffany K. Lewis, and Akula (Kentrell) Lockette, all of Jeanerette, Louisiana; her sisters, Margaret Green and Gertrude Hagger, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two brothers, Elton Bernard of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Joseph (Rey) Bernard of Orlando, Florida; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends.
Gustina was preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte Jenkins Bernard and Andrew Bernard; along with six sisters and three brothers.
