Michael Powell, age 64, a native of Gainesville, Florida and resident of New Iberia, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at The Carpenter House-St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Jones Powell; his son, Malik Powell; a bonus son, MoDarian Rayner; three stepsons, Akeem Williams, Jacinth Williams, and Tylanol Nerve, Jr.; two stepdaughters, Miracle Williams and Shalanda Williams; two bonus daughters, Moesha Rayner and Franchesca Wright; two brothers, Joe Bradley and Tommy Lee Powell; his sister, Maggie Bradley; a bonus sister, Bernadette Dent; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Bradley and Flossie Mae Powell; two sons, Michael Powell III and Keke Powell; and his daughter, Shell Powell.
