He was born May 9, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late James W. and Louise Kraft Cavey.
Jack was a member of the Church of the Redemption and St. George’s Episcopal Church and was the organist at both churches.
He worked as an insurance agent and was the owner and agent of Ferncliff Insurance Agency.
On July 13, 1969 he married Paulette Rasinski, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Jacquelyn A. Cavey of Waynesburg and Christopher L. (Dayna) Cavey of Foristell, MO; two grandchildren, Brice M. Shultz and Brooke M. Shultz; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Dorothy Dozier; two brothers, James Cavey and Eugene Cavey.
