He was born December 22, 1948, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Charles Edwin Phillips and Cora Alberta Fox Phillips Dreitzler.
Bud was a 1968 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Southwest Pennsylvania Water Company, Jefferson, for many years.
Surviving is a son, Shawn Phillips of Jefferson; 2 granddaughters, Sabrina Phillips and Page Phillips; a step-granddaughter, Tabitha Wiggins; a sister, Patty (Bob) Puthuff of Rocky Point, NC; a sister-in-law, Patricia Phillips; and two former spouses, Shelia Renee Harvey and Cynthia Harrison.
Deceased is a brother, William Phillips and a sister, Malva Pate.
