Ann Burke Kolick

She was born July 11, 1928 in Perryopolis, a daughter of the late Patrick and Maude Race Burke.

Ann was a graduate of East Bethlehem Township High School.

She had worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Millsboro Lumber Company.

Ann lived most of life in Clarksville, where she was a member of St. Thomas R.C. Church and a parish volunteer. She also was active in her high school class reunion organization committee for many years.

On May 2, 1952 she married Joseph E. Kolick, who died February 11, 2009.

Surviving are two children, Joseph E. Kolick Jr., married to Maxine Nagel of Arlington, VA and Karen A. Ventura, married to Robert Ventura of Crozet, VA; four grandchildren, Robert (Bert) Kolick, Alan Kolick, Brendan Ventura, and Kyra Ventura.

Deceased, in addition to her husband are three siblings, Marie Burke Franko, Elizabeth (Gibby) Burke Petrick, and Patrick Burke Jr.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas R.C. Church, 30 Main Street, Clarksville, PA 15322, with Fr. J. Francis Frazer officiating. Entombment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
